Morten Ruda steps down as President of the Mr. Gay Europe Organization.

Morten wishes to devote his time to his career as an actor. In the year 2010 he can be seen in the three motion pictures: "Drill" (photo above), "Sebastian's World and "AXS" (photo below).

- I am very proud of all the Delegates who have competed in the Mr. Gay Europe competition through the years and I wish them all the best in all their future endeavors.

I would also like to extend my thanks to all the Producers who have given us their continued support and hopefully will keep doing just that.

With our competition I feel we have shown that we can make a small difference in the gay community and that makes me really proud and happy, and I am therefore excited to see this legacy live on for years to come, says Ruda in a New Year's statement.

Eric Butter (photo below), President of Worldwide Mr. Gay will take over for Mr. Ruda starting January 4, 2010, while co-owner Tore Aasheim continues as Executive Producer.
